These are a few of my favorite things....
This is my families latest super challenging version of scrabble. My toddler actually loves to play this game, but sadly she can not spell....because well....she's two! So in order to keep our own game going we gave her banana grams tiles - which are a different color. Now not only do we have to work hard to spell better than each other - but we have to work around my tiny toddlers crazy bunched up letters. I think what makes it the most difficult is that all of her letter go in different directions! Long live family game night!
We are a chihuahua family. We love these little dogs and we have a running joke that they are like Lay's potato chips - you can't have just one.
Here in the northeast we have beautiful autumns. There is nothing more spectacular than bright orange trees that almost look like they are on fire. It's my favorite time of year - and it always inspires me to paint more just because the colors are so intense. Here is a photo from our trip this fall to Harper's Ferry West Virginia. We came home with a bushel of apples and the need for new apple recipes.
Sadly, this is not my photo. It is my moms! I've never been to Hawaii, but I've gotten to hear all about it from her trips. What strikes me the most from her photos of Hawaii is how big the sky is. I mean look at those clouds!! You might recognize the excellent photography skills - my mom takes most of the beautiful food photos you see on this blog.
